Journey Rules
At Edufiesta Expeditions, we have specific travel rules in place to ensure the safety, well-being, and smooth operation of our educational journeys. These travel rules apply to all participants, including students, teachers, and staff. Here are some of the key travel rules:
Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Participants must comply with all local, national, and international laws and regulations throughout the journey. This includes following immigration requirements, customs regulations, and any specific travel restrictions or guidelines set by the respective authorities.
Travel Documentation: Participants must possess valid and appropriate travel documents, including passports, visas, and any other required permits. It is their responsibility to ensure that their travel documents are up-to-date and comply with the destination’s requirements.
Code of Conduct: Participants are expected to adhere to a code of conduct that promotes respect, responsibility, and cultural sensitivity. This includes treating fellow participants, staff members, local communities, and the environment with respect and kindness.
Safety and Security: Participants must prioritize their own safety and the safety of others. This includes following safety guidelines and instructions provided by the expedition leaders and staff, being aware of their surroundings, and taking necessary precautions to minimize risks.
Responsible Behavior: Participants are expected to engage in responsible behavior during the journey. This includes refraining from engaging in illegal activities, substance abuse, bullying, harassment, or any other behavior that may disrupt the educational experience or jeopardize the safety of others.
Attendance and Punctuality: Participants must be present and punctual for all scheduled activities, including meetings, educational sessions, and outings. It is important to respect the itinerary and adhere to the agreed-upon schedule to ensure a smooth and organized experience for everyone.
Respect for the Environment: Participants should respect and protect the natural environment and cultural heritage of the destinations they visit. This includes following designated trails, minimizing waste, and avoiding any actions that may harm or damage the environment or cultural sites.
Compliance with Edufiesta Staff: Participants must comply with the instructions, guidelines, and decisions made by the expedition leaders and Edufiesta staff. They are responsible for the overall safety and well-being of the group, and participants are expected to cooperate and follow their directions.
Communication and Reporting: Participants are encouraged to communicate openly with the expedition leaders and staff regarding any concerns, issues, or emergencies. They should promptly report any incidents, injuries, or suspicious activities to the designated authorities or Edufiesta staff.
By adhering to these travel rules, participants can contribute to a safe, respectful, and meaningful educational journey that promotes personal growth, cultural understanding, and a positive experience for all involved.
